I love sweets a lot, especially halwas.

Here is the yummy beetroot halwa,Ingredients:
1. Beetroot - 1 big (Grate it),
2. Sugar - 1/2 cup,
3. Full cream milk - 1 cup,
4. Ghee - 1/4 cup,
5. Cashews - 8,
6. Cardomom powder - 1 tsp.
How to make this?
1. Pressure cook the grated beetroot with the milk and little water for 2 whistles. Cool and mash a little.
2. In a heavy bottomed pan/kadai add little ghee and roast the cashews and keep it aside.
3. In the same pan, add the cooked beetroot and cook stiring continuosly till the water evaporates.
4. Now add the sugar and mix well, keep stiring by adding the ghee.
5. When the halwa comes without sticking to the pan, add the cardomom powder and cashews and stir well.
6. When the ghee floats on top, put off flame and serve..!
Mmm.. Yummmy halwa is ready..!
I'm sending this halwa to the FIC-PINK event hosted by Priya, started by Harini.

Hope you loved it..!:) Enjoy!
